This morning you will bask in the most extensive treasure trove of ancient Pharaonic artifacts to your hearts content. Just stroll down the halls of the Museum and contemplate the dazzling works of arts presented for your perusal. From jewelry, to funishings, to regal masks, thrones, weapons and mummies. Let your eyes feast on this banquet of riches.We will then have lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Islamic Cairo to explore the Citadel of Saladin and its alabaster Mosque of Mohammad Ali dominating the Hills of Muqattam, casting a conquering glance over the city below. Onwards to Khan el Khalili, home to the most colorful of bazaars, permeated with the attar of the perfumers and of the spice-sellers and colored with the hues of fabrics and artifacts strewn across the display windows in its many shops. Once done, we shall go on to imbue ourselves in the calming effects of the Hanging Church at the roman fortress of Babylon and thereafter visit the synagogue of Ben Ezra and the churches of Saint Barbara and St Sergius.
