Founder and Producer Mohammed Shahin :
Mohamed Shahin, a native of Cairo , is a world-renowned performer, instructor, and choreographer of Egyptian Oriental Dance and Middle Eastern Folkloric Dance. His complex methodology has earned him the title of Master teacher, with students from around the world flocking to his workshops to learn from his fine attention to detail and friendly personality. With expertise in Classical, Traditional, and Modern Oriental, Baladi, Cairo style Shaabi, and all kinds of Egyptian Folklore dance, Shahin has taught, performed, and judged competitions in major festivals across the globe. He currently resides in New York City and has been touring internationally full-time since 2004, captivating audiences with his challenging choreographies and technical breakdowns of body isolations and movements.
In addition to his role as a prominent Bellydance instructor, Mohamed Shahin has also co-founded and produced the Raqs, Of Course festival in Cairo, Egypt, and the Annual NYCairo Raks Festival in New York City, USA. He is also the Founder and Producer of the Annual Dance Like An Egyptian Intensive Week in Cairo, Egypt.
With proficiency in Arabic, English, and Russian, Shahin possesses a diverse set of skills that enable him to instruct students in these three languages, in addition to the universal language of Dance.

Our instructors are some of the most passionate and dedicated teachers of oriental dance today, embodying the art form in every moment of their lives. With decades of experience, they bring exceptional knowledge and expertise to our community.
We are proud to welcome these accomplished instructors to our Cleopatra Dance Family, where they continue to inspire and shape the future of oriental dance.
The first being a 3-hour Master Workshop priced at $50 per workshop, and the second being a 2-hour workshop costing $25 per workshop. To be a part of the festival, you are required to register for one of the following workshop packages.
