Temple of Kalabsha, Nubian Museum
Our guide will pick you up and accompany you to the Temple of Kalabsha, dedicated to the sun god of lower Nubia, Mandulis (Merul). Built around 30 BC the temple was also one of the rescued temples after the erection of the High Dam. Once the construction of the levee was completed , the temple was relocated south of the Dam. We will then proceed to the Nubian Museum which houses a large collection of Nubian antiquities and there our guide shall walk you through the history of the region. Surrounding the Museum is a beautiful garden overlooking the Nile. Once you are done, we shall drop you off at your hotel.
